Detroit, MI--In July 2007, Ripken Design was hired as lead consultant to the Old Tiger Stadium Conservancy to consult on the reconstruction and programming options for Tiger Stadium, former home of the Detroit Tigers. As part of our agreement, Ripken Design has performed a feasibility study to analyze the stadium’s use as a baseball and event facility. In addition the company has worked closely with the Conservancy’s chosen architect Hamilton Anderson Associates, to maximize programming and baseball spaces. Ripken Design will soon take on the task of creating a variety of field renovation options for the conservancy to help restore the field into the elite venue it once was.
