Proposed Hagerstown Baseball Stadium

Proposed Hagerstown Multi-Use Sports and Events Center

On February 21, 2012 Ripken Design was hired to perform a study of the potential economic impact of a new downtown multi-use center in Hagerstown, MD. Over the next seven weeks, Ripken Design developed a comprehensive feasibility study designed to provide detailed information to public officials as they seek ways to improve the city. The results suggest that the multi-use center is not only financially feasible, but will be a catalyst for downtown revitalization. The study culminated April 17th, 2012 in a presentation of Ripken Design’s findings before a joint session of the Hagerstown City Council and Washington County Commissioners, as well as several State Delegates.
